In 1980s Kuwait, a “girl’s mistake” shakes the stability of an entire family. Fear of shame transforms the father into a merciless, hardened man, and the daughters pay the price, as marriage becomes a form of punishment… until the mother—once fragile—gathers her strength and decides to confront him.
